Final Idea for Magazine Advertisement - 

This is our final idea for our magazine advertisement. We have take ideas from across all four of our initial ideas in order to create an effective magazine advertisement. The band name is featured in the middle of the page in order to draw immediate attention to it. This helps the audience understand the meaning of the poster, who the song is by and helps to promote the band to people who have not heard of them before. Above the band name is the song name. This is written in big, bold, black wiring in order to stand out against the white background and be easy to read. It is shaped around an image of a lemon. The lemon is a reference to the song title. Underneath the band name is a silhouette of the band members. This creates a sense of mystery within the audience as to what they could be wearing in the music video or whether it is even the band members. It also creates a good contrast between the black of the silhouette and the white background making the poster stand out to audience members. At the bottom of the page there is a section with the information in. The release date is written in big writing to stand out against the yellow background and be seen clearly. On the left hand side the record label website is shown and on the right hand side, the band website is shown. This is useful as it means the audience can access more information about the release of the music or any other information they may want to know.
