I have created a few different versions of my idea in order to get feedback from my focus group. I created 3 versions using a pink background and 3 using a gold background. The pink background is actually a picture of gold glitter which I edited using Adobe Lightroom by changing the colour tint.
Feedback -
* I prefer the pink background to the gold as the pink ties into to the album name. The gold also looks more tacky and low budget.
* I quite like the coloured in hand with the black outline as it breaks up the glittery background.
* I prefer the thicker line than the thinner one as it stands out more and is easier to see.
* I think that 'The Wombats' should be slightly larger on the pink background as it is hard to see.
* I like the position of 'The Wombats' on the gold background because it is more noticeable.
* You could try filling in the hand in a block colour to make it stand out against the background.
