Props Research - 

We have thought about the different props we will need in order to make our music video look realistic and portray the narrative effectively.

The first prop we will need to use is a guitar. This will be used by the main character and singer. He will play the guitar in order to make the music video look real and not as though he is just miming. A guitar is a common prop used in most music videos of the indie genre and by us using one it will help to distinguish the genre of our music video .

Another prop we will use is cigarettes. We will use these because people often use smoking as a way to relieve their sadness and depression, which is what the main singer is trying to do. It will help to create a realistic sense of the characters feelings in the music video.

We will need to use a lighter to light the cigarettes. This will show that the cigarettes are real and therefore make the whole music video more believable and therefore more relatable to the target audience.

We will also be using alcohol (beer) to portray the sadness and depression of the main singer. We are using this as people often turn to drinking when they are sad, lonely or depressed in order to comfort themselves.
